Ontario native lends a hand to American Red Cross
Ontario native and BMX professional Mike Saavedra was back in town for a special performance. On Saturday, Saavedra (center above) along with BMX professionals Kyle O'Hara and Dustin Niall performed stunts at a special fundraiser for the American Red Cross.
The "block party" style event was coordinated by Sports Clips Haircuts and several businesses in and around Ontario Mills. The event was to raise funds for the Red Cross' hurricane disaster relief efforts.
Saavedra said he was "honored" to have been asked to participate. Look for the full story in Friday's City News.
