Dance the night away
The atmosphere was fun and upbeat at the recent grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Montclair.
Dance instructors demonstrated several dance styles, and owners Steve and Kathryn Hammitt proudly showed off their brand new floating dance floor with glass divider that amazingly allows for separate lessons to take place simultaneously.
Montclair Mayor Paul Eaton presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony and presented the Hammitts with a framed certificate of welcome.
The Hammitts also received welcoming wishes and certificates from representatives of Congressman David Dreier, Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod, Assemblymember Nell Soto, and Supervisor Gary Ovitt; and Chamber Board Member Dana Cox.
