Happy Halloween

So I was on the phone with Councilman Alan Wapner earlier today to talk to him about the dinner the Boy Scouts of America has planned in his recognition. But he turned the table on me and asked me a question first.

"Did you dress up?" Wapner said.

When I told him I hadn't, I could tell he was a little disappointed. I tried to console him by letting him know that I was going to dress up later that night.

So I turned the table on him.

"What did you dress up as," I said. (touche)

Well as you may know it was Wapner who began the discussions about getting a professional arena in town, so it should be no surprise that he was an Ontario Reign player.

"So that I can promote my team," he explained.

I wonder if there are any photos and if he checked anyone that crossed him that day.

Good points…I would note that as someone who really doesn’t comment to blogs much (in fact, this may be my first post), I don’t think the term “lurker” is very becoming to a non-posting reader. It’s not your fault in the least , but perhaps the blogosphere could come up with a better, non-creepy name for the 90% of us that enjoy just reading the content .
