Update: 20th annual toy run to benefit Santa Claus Inc.

| | Comments (15)

For 20 years organizers, Abate 19 and the Pomona Valley Harley Owners Group, have been putting together a toy run. The community is invited on Dec. 7 to bring a new unwrapped toy and $5 per rider.

Last year the run was able to raise about $15,000 worth of toys that were donated to Santa Claus Inc. Organizers said they would like to double that amount this year. In the past local businesses have donated dinners, discount coupons, merchandise and gift certificates.

There will also be a professionally judged ride-in bike show as well the best decorated bike award. There is a $100 prize for the largest organized group sign-in

The event starts at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will be held at Ontario Elk's Lodge at 1150 W. 4th Street, Ontario.

The event is December 7th, 2008. The event starts at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and will be held at Ontario Elk's Lodge at 1150 W. 4th Street, Ontario. Uncle Joe Benson is going to be there. The Santa Clause Inc. address and information can be found by looking them up, since there address is not relevent to the event it could only confuse people as to where the event is being held. As far as the amount of money raised last year I cannot say. I would only be able to say the 15,000 indicated is likely the number and there is no indication of 150,000 and I have no idea where you got that number. As I am a kind person I have looked up Santa Claus Inc for you.

Can you read?? said:

Will, you are too kind. I don't know how anyone can be confused by the information given for this event. Where did $150,000 come from? Get with it "what???" and take the time to clearly read all information.
