| | Comments (7)
The Ontario campus of Chapman University College will celebrate the
grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art campus location to meet the
demands of a rapidly growing student body in the community. The college will have the open house tomorrow.

Chapman University College, a nonprofit higher education institution
that provides adult learners with access to a quality education with
convenient sessions and campuses consistent with the needs of their
busy lives, will kick off the event with a ribbon-cutting and proclamation
by Mayor Paul S. Leon of Ontario. The proclamation will commemorate
"Non-Traditional Students Day" at Chapman University College on behalf
of the City of Ontario.

The Ontario campus location features new classrooms, computer labs, a
student lounge and resource center. The decision to open a new campus
is a result of rapid growth in enrollment. Chapman University College has
more than tripled its enrollment over the past three years in Ontario,
growing to accommodate 500-600 students each term.

Participants:

* Mayor Paul S. Leon, City of Ontario and Councilmember Sheila
Mautz, City of Ontario
* Gary Brahm, chancellor of Chapman University College
* Saskia Knight, vice chancellor for Enrollment & Student Affairs
* Jay Warner, vice chancellor for Administration
* Dr. Al DiStefano, Ontario campus director
* Police Chief Jim Doyle, Ontario Police Department and an
instructor who has taught courses in criminal justice and sociology at
Chapman University College's Ontario campus

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
