Fire burning near 91 Freeway, Riverside and Orange Counties
A fire covering 800 to 1,000 acres is burning in the Riverside and Orange County areas.
The fire is near the 91 Freeway and Green River Road in Corona and is headed west for Yorba Linda.
Mandatory evacuation has been announced in Gypsum Canyon east, in Yorba Linda, said Orange County Fire spokeswoman Christy Romero.
Evacuees should go to Esperanza High School, where Red Cross has set up, at 1830 N. Kellogg Drive, Anaheim.
Romero has reported there are 12 structural damage/destroy in Corona, and 5 to 6 in Yorba Linda.
There is one house in danger in Yorba Linda and a Corona Fire Engine was burned over and two fire fighters are reported to have minor injuries, Romero said.
