My family is very excited to see this show. We've seen others at Chaffey HS and if past shows are any indicator this production of Fiddler on the Roof is likely to be as good as (or better in some cases) any tour that comes through professional theatres in LA.

The show was FANTASTIC! Fiddler on the Roof - Chaffey Style - it's refreshing to see classical theatre performed so our kids can appreciate good quality theatre. Excellent job Chaffey!

This show was terrible. It was evident that the director only wanted to "show off' his 'talents' which were nonexistent. They portrayed Anatevka as a crude and disgusting village when in reality it should be a provincial and respectable town. They were WAY too focused on the superficial aspects, failing to take note of the deeper messages of the play. They utilized babies and a live horse, but to what effect? NOBODY CARES if they did a crappy job! The props don't make up for your horrible acting and incredibly apparent self-centered-ness. Chaffey theatre in general is focused more on superficial aspects rather than the message. In Aladdin Jr as well, they chose brown students to play the leads, regardless of their talent. I would like to see future Chaffey plays with more talented actors, and USE THE STUDENTS, not the teachers. The teachers have had their chance, give it to the students now! I know there is some real talent there if only the students were given a chance instead of having to stand by watching their teacher make a pig out of himself on stage.
