Seeking community's interest on Creekside
Rudy Gonzalez is looking for the community's help.
A resident of Creekside and a Creekside West Board member, Gonzalez said he does not want to see the former golf course revert back to native plants.
His neighbors feel the same way, he said.
The group is proposing to convert that space into a dog park.
"Right now dog lovers are using Westwind Park or the high school or wherever. It would be nice to have a place," he said.
But before takes any action into trying to convert the easement space into a dog park, he said he is looking to hear from the community to see if he has their support.
Gonzalez said he does not plan to take it over but hopefully it can be operated by a non-profit organization.
The idea would be to have the park split into three areas: small dogs, large dogs and then a training course, Gonzalez said.

I think this is a great idea. Most all the ideal cities have a dog park, so I don't see why Ontario can't either. Good idea.
Our little cat has been a mess lately, so we've taken him to do remarkable dog training and so far have been proud to keep our furniture as is! Does anyone else have some experience with a 2 year old domestic dog playing like a 6 month old?! I apprise the service.
