Poetry workshop at the museum

The Museum of History and Art, Ontario will is bringing in poet Linda Noel for a workshop in conjunction with its latest exhibit.
The exhibit titled, "Sing me your story, dance me home: art and poetry from Native California," will be at the museum through January 3, 2010.
The multimedia exhibition provides an insight on the lives, songs and dances of native Californians.
On Friday night they will have a free poetry workshop with Linda Noel, who grew up in Willits in the Koyungkowi tribe.
The workshop will be held Sept. 25 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. reservations are required.

The gallery is open noon until 4:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Admission is free.
Museum of History and Art, Ontario is located at 225 South Euclid Avenue, Ontario.
