Free Educational Mobilehome Conference in Ontario
On Oct. 23, in effort to help local mobilehome residents learn more about the law and about their rights as mobilehome residents, Assemblymember Norma Torres, D-Ontario and councilmember Debra Dorst-Porada have convened a panel of experts to answer mobilehome residents questions about state housing law.
The panel of experts will be comprised of representatives from the California Department of Housing and Community Development, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Ontario Police Department.
They will answer questions about mobilehome park code enforcement, landlord-tenant laws and how to address concerns about crime in mobilehome parks.
Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m.
The panel discussion will be from 9:30 until noon at the De Anza Community Center, 1405 S. Fern Ave. in Ontario.
