Ontario native Diane Kelber  will be screening her short film, "The Path," at the La Femme Film Festival on Thursday.
It was one out of only 93 selected from 1,000 film submissions to the LA Femme festival.
Kelber, who executive produced, wrote and co-starred in the 13-minute movie said she grew dreaming about movies and show business.
The film is directed by Tony Sears, with cinematography by Ben DeSousa.
The film was made with a $2,000 budget, shooting the entire 13-minute film in 2 1/2 days.
"The Path" was also an official selection at Indie Fest USA 2009, which screened at Downtown Disney in Anaheim on August 25th, and will screen November 24th in the New Filmmakers Fall 2009 Series at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City.
The short film will be screened at noon at the Davidson/Valentini Theatre in Hollywood.
