100th Annirversary Gala for Chamber

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce will hold its 100th Anniversary Gala at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, Friday, January 22, 2010. The program will consist of the installation of the 2009-2010 Board of Directors, Small and Large Businesses of the Year, and the inaugural Citizen of the Year Award.
"It is with great pride and excitement that we honor the Ontario Chamber of Commerce on its 100th anniversary," says Cindy Carpenter of BAE Systems and chairman of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. "Marking that milestone along with honoring the small and large businesses of the year will certainly make it an evening to remember."
The Large Business of the Year Award recognizes a large business for exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Ontario's business community. All nominees must employ more than 200 employees, be a Chamber member and be located in the City of Ontario. The Small Business of the Year recognizes a small business for exceptional business achievement and outstanding commitment to Ontario's business community. All nominees must employ less than 200 employees, be a Chamber member and be located in the City of Ontario. The Citizen of the Year Award will be given to an individual who resides, works or is highly involved within the Ontario city limits.. The individual must have contributed their time and effort to support and enhance the community programs. Deadline for nominations is December 18.
