Referrals from agencies and self-referrals are being accepted now for The Parent Project, a parenting program is scheduled to begin in Ontario on Jan. 14, 2010.
The program will be facilitated by crime prevention specialists from the Ontario Police Department.
This course helps parents prevent and intervene in the most destructive of adolescent behaviors.

Classes will be held every Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the police department's community room located at 2500 S. Archibald Avenue.
The course lasts 10 weeks.
The class fee is only $25 per person, which also includes class workbooks. A certificate of completion will also be given.
To register contact Cecelia Huggins of the Ontario Police Department crime prevention unit at chuggins@ontariopolice.org or (909) 395-2093.
