Michael Macias wants the public to stay fit this holiday season which is why he and the city's Recreation and Community Services department have once again organized the 5k run for fun and Holiday Toy Drive for Dec. 12.
This year, in an effort to get more participants, the city's Community and Recereation services has moved the location of the run to Citizen's Business Bank Arena.
The race, Macias will start and end there.
You can pre-register for the race until Dec.10 for $20. The day of registration will be $25, Macias said.
Participants are asked to bring in a new and unwrapped toy.
Last year more than 100 toys were collected and distribute to the community centers in Ontario, Macias said.
