Veteran of higher education to oversee University's new program
New release from West Coast University:
West Coast University President and CEO Barry T. Ryan, J.D., Ph.D., announced that Ravi Tripuraneni, M.B.A., Ph.D., will serve as Program Chair for the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (BSBA) with an emphasis in Health Care Administration. Dr. Tripuraneni will oversee the launch of the BSBA program at West Coast University's Los Angeles and Ontario campuses beginning February 1, 2010. Last month, West Coast University, one of the largest educators of nurses in California, gained approval from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to offer the degree at these two campuses.Prior to joining West Coast University, Dr. Tripuraneni taught at numerous campuses within the Cal State University system, and both graduate and undergraduate levels at Chapman University. Additionally, he has a significant amount of experience in teaching via online platforms. Outside of teaching, Dr. Tripuraneni has served as Senior Manager for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Irvine and previously held several other engineering consulting engagements. His formal education comes from Drexel University, where he earned his Ph.D. in Marketing; Claremont Graduate School, where he obtained his Master's of Science in Electronic Commerce degree; and Madras University, where he earned his Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A.). Dr. Tripuraneni received his undergraduate degree from Bangalore University.
