During Tuesday's council meeting, Tony Serranos with the Ontario Police Officers Association announced that there would be law enforcement appreciation night at the Ontario Reign.
As part of the night, the association will be naming the Ontario Police Officer of the Year at center ice.
The game, which will be on Wednesday is also a fundraiser for the association's Widow's and Orphan fund. The association held a similar fundraiser last year in which they were able to raise $2,000. That following week four officers in Oakland were killed and the association sent the $2,000 to help the families of the officers, Serranos.
The public can purchase tickets for $12.
"It's a deal, a fun night and I hope everybody can join us," he said.
To purchase tickets call the association, 909-923-2217.
