That is the worst news I have ever heard for the Inland Empire economy. A few years ago I saw Forbes himself state how great ONT Airport was. It was ranked as one of the best airports in the nation then. Now we are the worst.

Our city leaders better get together and try to figure out how we are going to grow when the airport is collapsing and its reputation now destroyed.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the takeover by Los Angeles World Airports? The economic collapse ruined ridership, but it was management that ruined the airports reputation.

Leaving all those people stuck on that international flight for hours with no food resulted in embarrassing national news coverage. That sure as hell didn't help the airport.

For me, I would fly LA/ONT International Airport over any airport in the Greater LA Metro Area. Right now the airport is great but when the airport is expanded and the parking structures take over, this airport is going to become LAX Part 2. Ontario city planners expect future growth around the airport to be substantial with office towers rising as tall as 40 and 50 stories.

I still have faith in the future of our local economy. The high speed rail station and the Metro Gold Line station will create a great mix of transportation options for the IE.

Just call the high speed rail shuttle bus to pick you up at your door taking you to the high speed rail station where in minutes you are whisked away to countless destinations throughout California and even Las Vegas at a fraction of the time and cost of alternative modes of transportation.

The future Los Angeles Stadium will also boost our airport into the stratosphere. This Superbowl ready stadium is located in the city of Industry and will also have a high speed rail station. It will be the only stop between LA Union Station and LA/ONT Airport.

This is an amazing post, I loved the information. Thank You!
