Taking down Nativity Scenes

| | Comments (1)
Debra Dorst-Porada announced that organizers of the Nativity Scenes will begin to take down the statues, signs, lights, canvas backdrops this Friday at noon.
They are looking for volunteers to help them. If you are interested they are also in need of hammers, wrenches (open end 1/2 - 3/4 & crescent), screwdrivers flat & phillips, as well as four 8 ft ladders.
On Saturday they will start at 8 a.m. and take down the wood panels. They will need the same tools and everything else along with 10 foot ladders, pry-bar, blocks of wood and gloves.
As for storing them, Dorst-Porada said they are still looking for a home. Anyone with about 2500 square feet of space is encouraged to call the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
Tom Burciaga said there is a company allowing them to store everything at his warehouse for now, until they find a permanent home for them.
If you are interested in helping or have a place to store the scenes contact the chamber, 909-984-2458.
