Ontario VFW hosts anniversary with open house

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2085 in Ontario will host a public open house and BBQ from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 11 in celebration of the 79th anniversary of its charter.
Visitors to the Post at 1341 East D. Street in Ontario can buy hamburgers or hot dogs for $1 while touring the recently renovated building. 
VFW Post 2085 received its charer on April 8, 1931 and has been the meeting site of Disabled American Centeran Chapert 27 (Ontario/Upland) for 20 years. Many members of each organization are also members of the other.
All current and past members of VFW Post 2085 are cordially invited to attend the open house with family and friends. 
There are more than 100 active members of Post 2085 who reside in Ontario, surrounding communities as far as Riverside, and include veterans of World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Persian Gulf War, Bosnia, Iraq and Afganistan.
