Yard sale weekend in Ontario

| | Comments (0)
The city will hold its first citywide yard sale of year this weekend.
Residents are permitted to hold yard sales this weekend ending on Sunday. If it rains Friday or Saturday, an alternate yard sale may be held on Feb. 12 and 13.
Rules for signs (one 6-square-foot sign on the owner's property) and for merchandise sold (seller's personal property only, no new or re-sold goods) remain unchanged.
The next yard sale weekend will be May 6, 7, and 8.
Last year, the city adopted a garage sale ordinance giving residents the opportunity to hold more sales each year on fixed dates and eliminating the need for garage sale permits and fees.
