| | Comments (0)
The Ontario congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on July 23 will host open houses and Pioneer Day Celebration barbecues at each of its meeting houses in the city.
The events, which are open to the community, will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at:
-522 W. Francis St.
-701 E. Rosewood Court
-450 Creekside Drive
Attendees will be able to tour the meeting houses to learn more about their Latter- day Saint neighbors.
Displays will highlight various Latter-day Saint auxiliary organizations.
Celebrating Pioneer Day on or around July 24 is a tradition by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day members and it commemorates the Mormons' arrival in Utah in July 1847.
