Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band to host Christmas Concert

The Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band, directed by Jack Mercer, will present its annual Christmas Concert on Monday, at 7:30 p.m.

The show will feature many of your favorite songs of the season along with a special “Wild Sleigh Ride” composed by Tom Clayton, a member of the Show Band’s trombone section.

The holiday season is celebrated in many religions, so the Show Band will play an new arrangement of”Hanukah Celebration” also written by Dr. Gabe Petrocelli.

The Show Band will feature songs like “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, “Silent Night”, “The Christmas Song”, “Jingle Bells” and many more.

Starbucks will once again be providing free coffee before and after the show.This concert will be broadcast on local Ontario cable Channel 3. Check your cable listings for the date and time.

The Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band is comprised of members from Ontario and more than twenty surrounding communities to make music together. The Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band was organized in 1985.

This free event will be held at Gardiner Spring Auditorium, on the campus of Chaffey High School, 1245 North Euclid Avenue in Ontario. Our Holiday extravaganza will feature a visit from Santa Claus and festive music to celebrate the season.
