Salem Christian Homes is looking for the community’s financial help in getting them through the fiscal year. The nonprofit organization does not charge residents for their care and needs to raise $511,000 before end of June to be able to continue to provide its services.
Serving 112 adults with disabilities ranging from Down syndrome to autism, care is provided in community home setting. Salem has 19 community homes, nine of which are in Ontario as well as others in Chino and Upland.
Salem creates an environment encouraging independence and growth. Confident that residents thrive in the community, Salem has a vehicle for each home to make it possible for the resident to volunteer, participate and dine in their local neighborhoods.
Salem offers health and dental insurance and retirement benefits, in an effort to enable staff to continue their roles at Salem for the long term.
