New visitor’s map available for greater Ontario area

Did you know that Evel Knievel made his daring 1971 motorcycle jump here, or that Greater Ontario is home to California’s oldest winery (dating back to 1839)?
Greater Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau’s 2013-14 Visitors Guide, an annual publication was released recently, for the first time in years, to promote the region, its activities, restaurants, retail outlets, hotels and attractions to leisure travelers and tour groups from outside of the area.
The guide showcases things to do and places to go, along with a little bit of history and insight into the region.
It will be available at local hotels and venues, welcome centers at the Ontario Convention Center and Ontario Mills, airport and travel locations, and will be distributed to travel agents and agencies both domestic and international.
A digital version will be incorporated into a comprehensive leisure ad campaign, and posted on a new GOCVB website due for unveiling soon.
