Citizens Business Bank Arena will be mixing up its musical lineup in the next couple of months to include rappers and Latino performers.
Rapper Pitbull and hip hop artist Baby Bash on March 24 will perform at the arena.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. this morning.
The concert will provide a couple of firsts for the arena. The show will be the first time that the arena will host performers outside of the country and rock genres as well as multiple acts in one night
The Hollywood Live promoted concert will be called "March Madness" and will also feature performances by E-40, MC Magic and Lala, arena spokeswomen Sue Oxarart said.
"We anticipate it to be a popular show and for it to sell out," Oxarart said.
To date, the arena has had success with several of its concerts. Performances by pop singer Carrie Underwood and heavy metal band Metallica sold out, Oxarart said.
"So far we've received a great response," Oxarart said. "This type of entertainment venue in the Inland Empire is something we've all needed for a long time," Oxarart said.
The city-owned, 225,000-square-foot arena in the 4000 block of Ontario Parkway can hold up to 11,000 seats, depending on how a stage is set up, she said.
Oxarart said the arena will be bringing in more acts to attract different audiences.
Earlier this month, arena officials took notice when San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland held a sold-out show featuring Mexican recording artist Jenny Rivera.
Oxarart said the arena is working to host two different shows in the near future with a well-known Latin performer and a variety of Latino acts. Additional details were not provided.
In the next year, arena officials will look to put on more shows to draw in the Latino community such as boxing and rodeos, she said.
"It's not only us. The promoters and agents know its a great site and are contacting us," Oxarart said. "We're on their radar too."
March Madness" tickets can by purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or by visiting the Citizens Business Bank Arena's box office at 4400 E Ontario Center Parkway in Ontario.

Even with muddled vocals from lead singer James Hetfield, Metallica could do no wrong with the Ontario audience at the Citizens Business Bank Arena Friday night.
The band used a multi-colored laser light show to start the show and didn't let up with loud flames, lighted-up coffins and red and green lights that popped up out the stage floor, which was in the center of the arena.
The first song was the eerie heartbeat from Death Magnetic's "That Was Just Your Life" before the guitars and Hetfeld's muddied vocals kicked in. Then the group went into the second song from the album ""The End of the Line."
Metallica's individual members looked to be having one of the best times of their life ... Hetfield constantly wore a sneering smile, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett, kept raising his arms to the adoring crowd, drummer Lars Ulrich kept getting off his drum set to talk to the fans in the front row or playfully throw water at them and bassist Robert Trujillo would kneel down and show his bass (and playing skills) to the fans in the closest rows.
Hetfield kept talking about how "Metallica loves Ontario" toward the end of the encore (which included balloons being dropped from the Ontario rafters and the explosive "Whiplash" and "Seek & Destroy." The band actually seemed to be enjoying the concert as they energetically walked the stage back and forth and after the concert ended they spent an extended period of time throwing out picks and Ulrich even gave away his drum sticks.
Fans were equally into Metallica and many of them pumped their fists, yelled or raised their arms the entire set. There were mosh pits continuously started on both sides of the stage with people happily shoving, getting shoved or running into other people.
Most of the crowd appeared to show up midway through Metallica's set because there were pockets of empty seats in the arena, which was sold out with more than 10,000 people.
In the mosh pit on the left side of the stage, noisy firecrackers were thrown down a couple of times during Metallica's set (and during second band Lamb of God). Somewhat surprisingly, no security appeared to go and check it out.
One fan even jumped on stage toward the end of Metallica's encore and appeared to take a guitar but security tackled him and got the guitar.
Lamb of God and The Sword were strong openers but their lead singer's vocals (from Lamb of God's Randy Blythe and The Sword's John "J. D." Cronise) were worse than Metallica's and nearly inaudible.

With the help of members of the Ontario Parkway Kiwanis officials with the Salvation Army will be kicking off their red kettle "bell ringing" campaign
Members of the Colony High School and Ontario High School Key Club will help sell programs for the Reign game as part of the fundraiser for the organization.
As part of the day the Salvation Army is sponsoring 250 disadvantaged kids in the community to watch the game, he said. Zitterkopf said they were able to sponsor so many kids and their family because the Reign offered them the tickets at a discounted price.
Money raised from that night will go back to the local community to fund community outreach programs the Salvation Army puts on.
If you are interested in donating to the Salvation Army contact Naomi or Malena at (909) 986-6748.
So I was on the phone with Councilman Alan Wapner earlier today to talk to him about the dinner the Boy Scouts of America has planned in his recognition. But he turned the table on me and asked me a question first.
"Did you dress up?" Wapner said.
When I told him I hadn't, I could tell he was a little disappointed. I tried to console him by letting him know that I was going to dress up later that night.
So I turned the table on him.
"What did you dress up as," I said. (touche)
Well as you may know it was Wapner who began the discussions about getting a professional arena in town, so it should be no surprise that he was an Ontario Reign player.
"So that I can promote my team," he explained.
I wonder if there are any photos and if he checked anyone that crossed him that day.
The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
"This is a great way of letting people know there is such a great venue here in Southern California," said Sue Oxarart, the arena's director of marketing.
When officials learned that the game would be nationally televised, Oxarart said it was "the icing on the cake."
But fans across the Inland Empire, such as Ontario Councilman Alan Wapner, were holding their breath earlier this week when it seemed that Lakers star Kobe Bryant would miss the game because of an injured knee.
When he heard Bryant is expected to play, Wapner let out a sigh of relief.
That news will make the experience a little more enjoyable for Wapner who bought four floor tickets behind a basketball hoop.
"I'm anxious and excited about the event," Wapner said.
Doors for the Lakers game will be opened an hour before the 7:30 p.m. tipoff.
Preparations for the game started Wendesday with a conversion crew covering the ice rink and installing the basketball court.
The arena has also been prepared for hungry fans as concession stands are fully-stocked.
The seats are clean and staff has been prepared to make the experience the best possible for the community as well as the performers, Oxarart said.
Saturday night marks another first for the $140 million arena, as it will be the home opener for the Ontario Reign, a minor-league hockey team affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings.
When the Lakers game is over, the conversion crew will spend the next couple of hours preparing for the ice for the hockey game, Oxarart said.
While tickets are sold out for the Lakers game, there are still tickets available for the Reign's home opener with Las Vegas.
"The Ontario Reign is the local team everybody has been waiting for," Oxarart said.
For those heading out to either game, Oxarart suggests they visit the arena's fan guide section on their Web site at www.cbbankarena.com.
There they can learn such things as tailgating not being allowed in the parking lot.
While the exhibition game is the first major event at the arena, officials with AEG Facilities have already lined up music acts such as Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson and Trace Adkins.
The arena has been dubbed by many in the community as the entertainment icon of the Inland Empire, partly because there is no other arena within a 40-mile radius, Oxarart said.
Aside from the hockey games, the goal is to hold about 125 events that range from concerts and family-oriented events to sporting events.
"It is a dream come true," Wapner said.
The 225,000-square-foot arena is in the 4000 block of Ontario Parkway.

While I was at the arena today, Steve Eckerson the general manager there mentioned that there were 10,000 people who visited the arena at their Community Day event last Saturday.
He also mentioned that the night before the event they handed him the keys to the arena.
"I felt like a 16-year-old kid when your father hands you the keys to the Rolls Royce," he said.
Eckerson admitted that when he was 16 his father handed him the keys to a Mercury.
This might seem minor but I was at the arena today and I noticed that the cross street lights on Concours are now working. For the last couple of weeks since I've been visiting the arena, the street lights had been covered up with cardboard.
I was in the car with sports editor Louis Brewster and he noticed that everytime we'd come to a light it would turn red on us. Maybe it's just some last minute kinks that still need to be worked out before the big game on Friday.
