Christmas on Euclid launches website

Here’s our story in today’s paper about Christmas on Euclid festival this weekend.

This year, however, Christmas on Euclid organizers have ramp up their online presence, creating a website for the annual event.

Elvia Rivas said she needed a way for prospective vendors to get their questions answered while she was at work.

With the help of Victor Sanchez, the website was launched about two months ago.

“The website is more vendor friendly and accessible. Before we only had email and a phone number but now I work full-time and I couldn’t be answering the calls all day,” she said.

On the the site, the public can not only find out the basic information about the event but prospective vendors could download application forms.

“It’s in its infancy stage but we want to build it up a little more. It served its purpose in getting vendors to a site where they can get information,” Rivas said.

And it has paid off. Rivas said even though there are 100 vendors, typical for this event, there are a lot more new vendors this year.

But she hopes to expand the site in the months to come so that in the future public can draw use for the site.
