Ontario teens compete in kids Spanish version of “The Voice”

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I mentioned that there were two Ontario teens competing in “La Voz Kids,”?  Here’s an update on Brian Torres and Edgar Chavez.

In my last entry about the show I had informed you that Edgar Chavez was eliminated and linked to an initial story about him. Here’s the full story published into today’s Daily Bulletin. Despite the loss, Edgar recently shared with me: “I’m just going to keep on going with my dream of becoming a professional singer.”

But Brian Torres, who currently attends Chaffey High School, had advanced. He performed last night and received praise from the judges for singing a song he did not know.

But he can’t advance without your help. Here’s a link to vote online. The polls close at 10:30  p.m. tonight. You can also vote by phone via 855-698-6918 and enter kk.

Here’s a tweet from La Voz Kids when Brian first advanced.
