Ontario resident in reality competition show

GSN has announced the lineup of competitors for the second season of its hugely successful original series The American Bible Challenge will include a resident from Ontario.
Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will host this one-hour game show in which contestants compete based on their knowledge of the Bible and will premiere on March 21 at 9 p.m. on GSN.
In addition to the group of new contestant teams, which includes the Rockin’ Rabbis, Christian Wrestling Federation, Redeemed Rednecks and Sisters of Mary, the second season of the show will feature Grammy winner and multi-platinum-selling musician and producer Kirk Franklin joining as musical co-host.
Along with showcasing their knowledge of the Bible, this season’s new crop of contenders will vie for the title by competing in brand new games that put their spiritual and physical talents to the test.
The tournament starts with 18 three-person teams — three teams in each of the first six episodes of the season. The winning teams from each of those six episodes advance to play in two semi-final games. During the final round, one team will be named champions of the American Bible Challenge.
Among one of the 18 teams who will kick off the challenge include Ontario and Corona residents.
The team is competing for the charity, The Ruby Project, which is dedicated to helping physically, sexually, and emotionally abused teenage girls.
Team members are Peace Amadi (psychology professor); Ndidi Amadi (teacher); Ogechi Nwankwo (RN). These fun-loving, high-energy, Nigerian-American “sisters” are passionate about The Ruby Project, which was founded by Peace and her good friend Leslie Nwoke.
The Ruby Project grew out of both of their personal experiences being teased and bullied in school and their heart for empowering women and girls who’ve experienced all kinds of abuse.
The Ruby Project provides retreats for young women suffering the effects of abuse and trauma and addresses issues pertinent to them through their YouTube channel (rubycommunity). Check them out also on Twitter (@RubyInsiders) and Facebook (rubyinsiders).
