Gay George Michael says gays don't like him
Now I've heard everything.
Apparently singer George Michael is convinced he doesn't have gay fans because he has been open about his homosexuality.
"Gay fans are only interested when you're 'in the closet," Michael said Tuesday on "George Michael - I'm Your Man: A South Bank Special show." "Once you're out, they don't give a toss."
Give me a break. This dude really has smoked too much pot! If he lacks fans, gay or straight, it most certainly has more to do with his pathetic public behavior which has included several run-ins with the law for such things as having sex in public places. The former Wham singer, 43, didn't even come out until April 1998 after he was arrested for "engaging in a lewd act" in a public restroom in Beverly Hills.
It's a total slap in the face for him to diss gays and I think shows that he has totally lost his perspective.

Well said! I've loved George for years! Even when he blatently used his sex appeal with "Faith" and "I Want Your Sex" to lure young fans in the '80s. C'mon, tight jeans, stubble, leather jacket and shades?! Such a ploy to be straight! I think he has some serious self-pity going on and needs to lay off the weed!
No George, gays 'don't like' you because you're an embarrassment and a pain in the neck to boot.
And I'm guessing this doesn't just apply to gay opinions either.
Let the man live and sing to our delight.
Cant people just leave George to get on with his life instead of criticising him. Let him do what he does best sing and write amazing songs. The rest has nothing to do with anyone else. He is not an embarrassment at all. We are sure that many people as well as us two love him and cant imagine life without his music.
Just leave him to live his life the way he wants to. As he says freedom is the most important thing.
