ALERT: ABC "greatly dismayed" by Washington's language
ABC is now weighing in on the Golden Globe incident during which Isaiah Washington took the microphone backstage and said to the world press: "I did not call T.R. (Knight) a faggot. It never happened."
Knighjt said on Wednesday's "Ellen DeGeneres Show" that Washington had indeed referred to him by the gay slur and the now out actor added: "Everybody heard it."
Here is the ABC statement:
“We have a long standing policy to create and maintain respectful workplaces for all our employees. We dealt with the original situation in October, and thought the issue resolved. Therefore, we are greatly dismayed that Mr. Washington chose to use such inappropriate language at the Golden Globes, that he himself deemed “unfortunate� in his previous public apology. We take this situation very seriously, and his actions are unacceptable and are being addressed.�

Isaiah Washington was refreshing to watch. He can act and act well! He is personally a good and true man. I like his acting as much as Sidney Poitier's acting. They have the same demeanor on the screen. IT is called integrity and class. HOWEVER, greys anatomy went with a HOMOSEXUAL plot for homosexuals to enjoy and put t r knight in bed with 3 of the hot charming females! This ruined for all time any imagination of us red-blooded American Boys over those women. The show ruined their own plot. Maybe they never had a good story line and plot besides sick backward human behavior that belongs in some XXX show. They had interns having sex with bosses, homosexuals being the bed partner of most of their women, and old married men dating employees. Then the only man on the show who appeared with strength and character( Isaiah Washington) they send away. How stupid is that? How can i watch it again? I cannot. I never will. I have never liked homesexuals and certainly do not watch them. But to put them into bed with the women of the show, and then later scream they are insulted for being what they are, queers, and for the whole ABC system to take up for them? Why is this?
Gay is not a word for homosexual. Deviant is a word for them. ABC owes Isaiah a public apology. Deviant behavior is not the main stream life of most Americans. But is it at abc?
