atrophy.jpgOK, so it isn't exactly the Oscars. But since the winners are tipped off in advance, the People's Choice Awards are always pretty star-studded. I'll be planted backstage where the winners will come after they talk to "Entertainment Tonight," "Extra," "Access Hollywood," "The Insider" AND "E!" Let's hope they still have some energy left!
amatthew77.jpgI'll be blogging even before the show begins which is 5 p.m. PST. It doesn't air on the West Coast until 9 p.m. on CBS. I'll probably start posting sometime after 4 p.m. You can read my comments on On the Red Carpet which is the awards show blog of the LA Daily News.
Some of my memories from this show last year include sitting in the front row of the press room and asking Matthew McConahey a question just so I could tell my friend Eddie I had a conversation with him. I consider it a conversation if I ask a question, he answers and I say thank you. Right? Sandra Bullock was my favorite, so down-to-Earth and damned beautiful too.
ageorge.jpgI also got great views of such hotties as CSI's George Eads and Prison Break's Wentworth Miller when they came backstage after their shows won. Is there a more handsome actor on television than George Eads? I think not. He was sporting these bangs that I thought were really sexy.
Some stars were not as charming. Take Jason Lee. He ate a sandwich the entire time he was in the interview room. I'm sure he was hungry but good grief! Kelly Clarkson was a sweetie but lost her composure a little bit after being introduced to McConaughey in the hallway. Can't say I blame her.

I am excited to see who is going to walk away with the awards tonight. Queen Latifah is hosting and I'm sure it will be a great event. I actually have some insider scoop for you all. I work with the People Choice Community and have been told that during the broadcast you can vote for the Olay Total Effects "Love Your Look" Award and 2 other categories at http://www.pcavote.com. The nominees are Sandra Bullock, Evangeline Lily, Katherine Heigl, Reese Witherspoon, and Drew Barrymore. If you vote within the first hour of the telecast you will have a chance to win $10,000 and the winner will be announced at the end of the show. So tune in Tonight @ 9pm on CBS!
