Jason Lewis says gay kiss "scared" him....

jasonextra1.jpgFrom what I've read around the Internet so far this morning, it doesn't seem that "Brothers & Sisters" fans are too keen on Kevin's new love interest, Chad, because they don't think he's good enough for our Kev! He's a big closet case. But I think most, myself included, are willing to go with the storyline due to the hotness factor of the actors involved: Matthew Rhys as Kevin, and Jason Lewis as Chad.
But then Lewis goes and does something you just can't do anymore when you take on a gay role: he told TV's 'Extra" that he had trepidation about kissing another man on screen. So what does he want, a medal of courage for locking lips with another dude? Get over yourself.
AfterElton.com flagged down the interview and editor Michael Jensen had some harsh words for the actor: “It’s called acting, stupid! Gay and lesbian thespians are often called upon to kiss members of the opposite sex onscreen, and you don’t hear them describing the prospect as “scary. If you’re trying to turn off gay fans of Brothers & Sisters then you’re off to a great start."
Well said. And just for being such a dunce about it, I think writers should have Chad and Kevin kiss in every episode, just so Jason won't be so "scared" anymore.
