"Little Miss Sunshine" wins top prize from Producer's Guild of America

asun.jpg"Little Miss Sunshine" beat back Golden Globe winners "Dreamgirls" and "Babel" as well as fellow nominees "The Queen" and "The Departed" for its biggest win of award season Saturday at the 18th Annual Producers Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles.
To date, PGA Best Film winners, including "Titanic," "Schindler's List" and "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King", have gone on to claim Best Picture at the Oscars 11 out of 17 times.
But last year's PGA win for "Brokeback Mountain" meant nothing when "Crash" went on to take the best picture Oscar.
