Rob Lowe to extend stay on Brothers & Sisters

rob_lowe_09.jpgJust caught Rob Lowe guesting on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and he was talking about his role as a U.S. senator on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" which returns with a new episode on Sunday night! Gee, what will I watch? The adventures of the Walker clan or the season premiere of the Rosie-hating Donald Trump's "The Apprentice"? Easy decision since I am boycotting anything related to Trump until he apologizes for calling Rosie "a fat slob," among other first-grade taunts. Idiot.
So back to Lowe, who was initially signed on to be on "Brothers & Sisters" for six episodes. He tells Ellen: "I'm gonna stay on the show for the rest of the year."
Hooray!
But here's where it gets mysterious. It seems that Calista Flockhart's Kitty will go to work for Lowe's senator character but will they become a romantic item? Or will the senator be the love interest of Kitty's gay brother Kevin (Matthew Rhys) as has been speculated. Lowe was pretty mum but Ellen only asked if his character would be hooking up with Kitty (That Ellen, only thinking about the beautiful woman!). Rob would only say: "It's going to go some pretty cool places."
