The transformation of Mark Wahlberg....

amarky2.jpg
He's now an Academy Award nominee and that is no small thing. Mark Wahlberg has become a bigger movie star each year over the past decade with such hits as "Boogie Nights" and "The Italian Job" and now in "The Departed" which earned him a best supporting actor nod today. His competition is Alan Arkin ("Little Miss Sunshine"), Jackie Earle Haley ("Little Children"), Djimon Hounsou ("Blood Diamond" and front-runner Eddie Murphy ("Dreamgirls"). So, I have a lot of respect for his transformation. But hey, let's get real. Don't ya kinda miss the underwear ads?
