T.R. Knight shines on this week's "Grey's Anatomy"

trknight300.jpgWhen I saw T.R. Knight at this week's People's Choice Awards, he seemed to be uneasy in the media glare and I wondered what his relationship with Isiaiah Washington was like since the big fight with he and Patrick Dempsey that led to Knight coming out as a gay man.
Anyway, after watching this week's episode of "Grey's Anatomy," I gotta say - the media glare is certainly not affecting his work as George O'Malley on the show. He was amazing in an episode in which his father undergoes surgery for cancer going through an entire gamut of emotions and making you feel his anguish. His scenes with the sensational Sara Ramirez, his on-again, off-again love interest on the show, were very heartfelt.
Week3_CalGeorge.jpgAnyway, before T.R. started getting all this attention for being a gay man, he was a damned good actor with a lot of experience in his craft. And guess what, he's still a good actor - maybe even better now. He and Washington also shared a few scenes - just the two of them - and they were just fine, no strain visible.
Glad to see he's doing his job so well. If he ever craves more of the spotlight, I'm sure it will be there waiting for him.
