Rosie apologizes to Elisabeth for war of words...
I think Elisabeth Hasslebeck is wrong a lot politically but I also think she is entitled to her opinion. This week on "The View," I saw Rosie O'Donnell go a little too far in shutting Elizabeth down when discussing the Patriot Act. Rosie went very "Crossfire" on Elisabeth and apparently has apologized.
"Elisabeth, you are very young and you are very wrong," Rosie said to Elisabeth after Hasselback said she supported the government eavesdropping.
Using her website Rosie.com, O'Donnell blogged, "I said some of Elisabeth's comments were ignorant, which was ignorant itself. "It is a hard job there on ‘The View,'" Rosie continued. "The lines between TV and truth overlap and blur."
Rosie blogged the two have moved past this week's word play: "I love Elisabeth. I hurt her feelings," Rosie wrote. "I feel badly. She has forgiven me."
She also brought up her feud with Donald Trump: "Fame is odd," she continued. "Why would Barbara Walters be involved in my ‘feud' with the dump truck? She was not on the show that day. She had nothing to do with what I said. Why did he involve her?
Rosie even suggests her new blog post, which references Trump will continue their public war of words. "If I didn't blog about him anymore he would leave me alone. Yes . . . well, no deal Howie," she wrote.
