David Spade and the Taco Bell panhandler...

Pretty soon the panhandler who plants himself in front of the Taco Bell near Beverly Center is gonna have his own reality show. I encountered him this weekend as I walked inside to get a quick bite and found him to be different from a lot of people who want me to give them some $$. He was articulate and kind of funny. I refused to give him any money - I never give them money - but did compliment him on his approach.
So I was amused to see David Spade succumb to him in a video posted today on TMZ.com.To see the video, click HERE.
David Spade gave ten bucks to a homeless guy yesterday -- because of George Clooney.
Spade was surprised to find paparazzi on his Taco Bell run and remarked that Clooney "is always photographed giving money to homeless people." Spade then flipped through a wad of cash and handed the beggar a $10 bill, saying, "Ten dollars here gets you dinner for a year."
The homeless man must have imagined an extra zero on the bill -- he told cameras Spade gave him a hundred bucks!
