Isaiah Washington to Emmy: I'm not for your consideration...

Embattled "Grey's Anatomy" co-star Isaiah Washington has decided not to submit himself for supporting actor consideration at this year's Emmys, Daily Variety reports.
Perhaps this should come as no surprise since Washington has gotten more attention at awards shows this year for his off-screen behavior. At the Golden Globe Awards in January, he stated to the worldwide press that he had not called out co-star T.R. Knight a "f****t." This reignited a storm that began last fall when he had an on-set scuffle with Patrick Dempsey and used the F-bomb, refering to Knight.
At the NAACP Awards this year, Washington won the best actor award and was given a standing ovation that some observers - including me - found innappropriate. In contrast, Knight received a memorable, thunderous standiing ovation at Saturday night's GLAAD Awards for coming out and handlinbg Washington's erratic behavior with grace and dignity.
The entire cast of "Grey's Anatomy" is submitted in the supporting category except for Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey who compete as leads.

seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.
