The gay legacy of "The OC"

aaaoc.jpgThere is a terrific story posted on AfterElton.com today about "The OC" which wrapped up its four-year run on FOX in February. Since I grew up in The OC and lived in Newport Beach for a time, I was immediately drawn to the show. But a gay legacy? I hadn't really thought so. But after reading this article, I realize how much gay subtext there was between Seth (Adam Brody) and Ryan (Ben McKenzie) as well as a very progressive attitude about gay people in general.
