Clooney and Pitt will have some company at Grauman's today...

OK, I wonder if the Save the Boom folks are running the risk of becoming incredibly annoying in their efforts to get Brad Pitt and George Clooney on board to rescue Laguna Beach's legendary Boom Boom Room gay bar and adjacent Coast Inn hotel.
The two superstars, who raised many millions for the needy in Darfur at the Cannes Film Festival last week, will be leaving their hand and footprints in the front courtyard in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre as they continue their publicity blitz for "Ocean's 13" which opens Friday.
They are going to have some company as they dip into the wet cement: Demonstrators wearing bright yellow SAVE the BOOM T-shirts and holding up signs will be in front of the theater at 6925 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood.
SAVE the BOOM!!! (www.savetheboom.com) is conducting a week long campaign to get the two stars attention to see if they will actually buy the 60 year old gay landmark Boom Boom Room in Laguna Beach, CA. The campaign kicked off Monday with a 1⁄4 page ad in Daily Variety asking Clooney and Pitt to help SAVE the BOOM!!!
