Ellen and Portia's Emmy night...

Wanted to take a moment to reflect on Ellen DeGeneres who won two Emmys last week: best talk show and outstanding talk show host. She was very generous in her speech to fellow lesbian talk host Rosie O'Donnell who was among the competition but in just looking at these photos, it's clear that Ellen in her own way does a lot to help mainstream acceptance of gay and lesbians. She and Portia de Rossi are a stunning couple and seem so genuinely happy together and I love that these images of them being affectionate and supportive of each other are here for the world to see and appreciate...
