Rosie's "Price Is Right" competition...

aaaaaaaaaaprice4.jpgAs you know, I think Rosie O'Donnell is THE perfect replacement for Bob Barker as host of "The Price Is Right." Mind you, I haven't watched the show in ages but I would if Rosie hosted. It would be a blast. Was flipping through a copy of Variety just now and spotted a story in some of the MEN who have already auditioned so I thought it would be fun to list them and give you my opinion of them:
- Ian Zeiring (actor) I read he just auditioned this week. He's pretty charming, has got great teeth. He could be someone fun and different to have as host. But again, only if Rosie didn't take the job.

aaaaaaaaaaprice2.jpgMario Lopez (actor/host/hottie) He's got energy, personality, charisma and God knows he's got the body. (We'll that doesn't matter for this gig I guess) Plus, he's Hispanic. How cool would it be to have a game show host who is not a middle aged white man. I have nothing against middle aged white men, trust me. But I'm for diversity whenever possible. Mario would be a good choice if things with Rosie don't work out. But is he a tad too young maybe? Not to me! But I fear the network suits might think so.

- David Price (weatherman on the "CBS Early Show") WHO the heck is he? I watch "The Today Show" and "Good Morning America" like everyone else.

aaaaaaaaaaprice1.jpgMark Steines (co-anchor of "Entertainment Tonight")
He'd be a safe choice. He's even better looking in person than on TV but he lost me when he spent WAY too much time on that Anna Nicole Smith story. I still rarely watch "ET" because of the obnoxious way they milked that story.

aaaaaaaaaaprice6.jpgMark Kriski ("KTLA Morning Show") He's on Los Angeles morning television for about four hours each morning and has been for more than a decade. And, I sat next to him during a big group dinner at Maggiano's given by a mutual friend a few years ago. I think he's great where he's at.

aaaaaaaaaaprice5.jpgGeorge Hamilton (actor) Uh, no. He might appeal to a certain older demographic but I don't see him wearing well day after day. Plus, where would h find the time to keep up that fabulous tan?

aaaaaaaaaaprice7.jpgJohn O'Hurley (actor) Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! All wrong. Sure, he can dance and he can probably host. But I don't want him. He just doesn't send me.

Todd Newton (host)
Quite capable, but also quite uninspiring.
