Aren't these paintings terrific? They were done by Thom Bierdz...

aaaaaaaaaaaadoggie.jpgThom doesn't just paint hot cowboys! Here is one of his latest commissioned works of a dog named Auggie. 20 percent of the proceeds went to benefit the K9 foundation, a charity that teams rescued pets with challenged teens.

aaaaaaaaaaaathom.jpgWas hoping to catch up with Thom a few weeks ago at the LA Pride parade but couldn't swing it. But I was happy to hear from him about some of his latest "Brokeback MountaIn" paintings. Thom is such a talented painter and I profiled him last year for Fronteirs Magazine. For three years, he played Philip Chancellor on "The Young and the Restless" but drifted away from acting into painting and writing after his mother was murdered by his brother. He tells the whole story in a riveting book "Forgiving Troy" which I urge you to check out.
Anyway, just wanted to give a shout out to Thom for his wonderful paintings!
