Damon is a dazzling star indeed...

The Hollywood Walk of Fame has a serious credibility problem a lot of the time. I mean, really. Britney Spears has a star? The Olsen twins? Who's next? Kimberly Stewart?
But sometimes they get it right such as with Matt Damon. He burst onto the scene in a big way starring in "Good Will Hunting" and winning an Oscar for co-writing the screenplay with best friend Ben Affleck. Since then, Damon has alternated between blockbusters (the "Bourne" and "Ocean's" franchises) and more dramatic fare ("Talented Mr. Ripley," "The Rainmaker," Gerry") and kept his feet firmly on the ground. He's kept his sense of humor (the "Will & Grace" guest spot was a riot) and tried to pass it all on ("Project Greenlight").
So congrats to Matt, on a well-deserved star. It will be a pleasure to walk all over ya.

And here is Damon, later that night, at the premiere of the new "Bourne" flick with best pal after all these years, Ben Affleck...
