Matt and Ben together again...for a good cause

I love seeing Matt Damon and Ben Affleck using their fame for a good cause. Maybe Paris Hilton, so intent on changing her vapid life, can learn a few things from this Oscar-winning pair who have had their share of paparazzi following their every mood and somehow have remained substantive people. Fresh from their Father's Day vacation in Hawaii with their wives, Matt and Ben Affleck were in Las Vegas for the Ante Up For Africa poker event at the Rio Hotel. It raised money for the Enough Project and the International Rescue Committee, both which aid survivors of the crisis in Darfur. Ante Up For Africa was co-organized by Damon's Ocean's Thirteen costar Don Cheadle.
Greg Hernandez has covered the entertainment industry for the Daily
News since 2001. He's considered a bit odd by some for his obsession
with box office numbers, has been known to camp out near the kitchen
at premieres for first crack at the hors d'oeurves, and Greg's never
seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.
