Mourning the show that wasn't: the US version of "Footballers' Wives"

I had been looking forward to ABC's version of one of my favorite guilty pleasures from the U.K.: "Footballers Wives." But the sbow did not make the network's fall schedule despite a cast that included the oh-so-sexy Eddie Cibrian and James Van Der Beek.
Fortunately, the blog Ohlala.com posted these pics from the pilot today. I am particularly fond of the one below:
