Skipped out on a morning NLGJA session after about a half hour to get my shoes shined (my black dress shoes, not the white tennis shows). The guy with a stand outside the Westin- Horton Plaza was so cool, singing along with Sinatra songs as he worked on my footwear. Then grabbed a smoothie at Jamba Juice, bought some newspapers then came back to my hotel room because I could not resist doing a quick web surf.
