Zac Efron, superstar...

Wow. Zac Efron is everywhere right now!
The talented teen, who sang and danced to stardom as Troy Bolton in "High School Musical," is out plugging the film's sequel during a summer that he also shines in the hit musical "Hairspray."
Zach is on the cover of Rolling Stone with a pose that is getting a lot of attention because of the little peak we get of his abs. Sheesh, some people are so shallow.
Anywho, last night, Zach was on with Jay Leno who shared the mag with his audience and, I'm sure, ribbed Zach a little bit about it. Since being one of the stars of the WB drama "Summerland" a few years ago, Efron has been on a career roll and my prediction is the best is yet to come.

Greg Hernandez has covered the entertainment industry for the Daily
News since 2001. He's considered a bit odd by some for his obsession
with box office numbers, has been known to camp out near the kitchen
at premieres for first crack at the hors d'oeurves, and Greg's never
seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.

Too bad most of Zac Effron's singing voice in "High School Musical" was dubbed over by another singer, because Disney thought Zac's voice was too thin and they needed someone who had more oomph to the voice. But his voice in "Hairspray" is all his.
But he's becoming the little hottie now. And what a nice shallow pic. I think I'll buy the mag. :P
