Busy weekend at the movies...
This drives a co-worker of mine crazy but I just love saying or writing this: "The Itty Bitty Titty Committee." It's not a little rhyme I made up in grade school, it's the name of a new lesbian-themed comedy that opens in New York today (in just one theatre before it expands in the coming weeks). "Titty" screened at Outfest on awards night but I was so busy interviewing folks, I missed most of it.
Since it's not yet in wide release, I can tell you that I did see two movies this weekend that are in a theatre near you: the romantic comedy "Feast of Love" which has a few hot lesbian scenes, and the action flick "The Kingdom" which stars Jamie Foxx. I think Jamie Foxx is one helluva good actor but, let's face it, what I really like about him is that he is one of the sexiest men alive.
Anyway, I write about what's new at the movies and how I think the movies might fare in my weekly BOX OFFICE BUZZ column. Also, check out my chat with "Feast" star Greg Kinnear in my other blog, HOLLYWOOD JOE.
Greg Hernandez has covered the entertainment industry for the Daily
News since 2001. He's considered a bit odd by some for his obsession
with box office numbers, has been known to camp out near the kitchen
at premieres for first crack at the hors d'oeurves, and Greg's never
seen a red carpet he didn't want to stroll down.
